The South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun said Saturday that he had never seen any evidence of the existence of nuclear cooperation between North Korea and Syria, describing the American media reports which claimed the existence of this cooperation as ‘worthless’.
In Egypt, Mubarak held a meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank about the issue of funding a peaceful nuclear program to generate electricity, which according to the Egyptian government will be implemented soon. The needs for funding this project are estimated to more than 100 billion pounds over the next ten years, through the major banks that will grant the government loans to finance the project.
