Sunday, the United States signed an agreement with the Jordanian government to support Jordan's peaceful nuclear program, as revealed by the American embassy in Amman.
The American Minister of Energy, Samuel Bodman, and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khalid Touqan signed a memorandum of understanding to support Jordan's peaceful nuclear program. This agreement came on the sidelines of the nuclear energy summit held in Vienna. The statement said that the two countries, under the convention, "will work together to develop proper requirements for the power reactor and the proper fuel services, and for the training of civilian and nuclear security, and technical side of many other related themes."

Allegations about Syria alleged links with North Korea are still spread through the Occidental press, with Gates speaking about it.
